Fringe was featured in Better Homes & Gardens!

Dark colors, rich textures and plenty of drama? Count us in! Check out Fringe's contribution to fall's hottest design trend: Whimsigoth, featured on the Better Homes & Gardens website.
Whimsigoth is a combination of whimsical and gothic and seems to elaborate on eclectic style. Eclectic doesn’t follow one specific design style and often combines pieces from a range of contrasting influences or sources. The style can be furthered by incorporating items that promote a particular theme or personal interest (color, texture, pattern).

Whimsigoth mixes some of design’s best elements - rich colors, elegant patterns and a combination of styles and finishes. To best achieve the look, layer materials and textures. Combine a vintage style sofa or chair in a luxe velvet along with tables in a dark wood finish. Consider incorporating a whimsical wallcovering or piece of art with a colorful or celestial pattern. Mix in unique accessories that add to the gothic trend such as ornate mirrors, legged candleholders or skull themed decor. Not only will you now be on trend, but you’ll have a timeless design foundation in your home that can be updated easily and cost effectively!
