Trends for 2018

The return of wallpaper is a hot trend for 2018. We are going to see an explosion of color, oversized prints and bold designs.

Why wallpaper? Wallpaper is a perfect solution to make a quick transformation or a create a bold statement. It can add interest to a space while playing off of your existing décor.  It’s also a great way to bring in color or pattern! Monochromatic designs provide both texture and movement and large-scale patterns can trick your eye by making a small space appear larger.

If you’re not quite ready to go all in but you still want to do one of these things, there are plenty of ways to incorporate wallpaper without as much commitment. Find a pattern you love and use it on the back interior of a bookcase or on a kitchen backsplash wall. Create a focal point by using it on a ceiling or on a headboard wall in a bedroom. You can even use it to decoupage furniture – on the front of a dresser or on a tabletop underneath glass!
